The microalga species Tetraselmis (100%) is used for the cultivation of brine shrimp.
The expiration date remains unchanged even after use. This is because the bag compresses as the gel is dispensed. This prevents air from entering the bag and thus prevents oxidation of the phytoplankton.
Storage: Store Easyart in a dark, dry, and cool place. The storage temperature should not exceed 25°C. In summer, if temperatures are higher, it is recommended to store it in a climate-controlled room.
Tetraselmis (100%).
Cell concentration: 0.1225 x 10⁹ cells/ml
The dosage depends on the density of brine shrimp being fed.
The average consumption is 4 ml of Easyart per 10 L of culture per day for the first 5 days (nauplii and metanauplii) and 8 ml of Easyart per 10 L of culture from day 5 onwards (juvenile and adult brine shrimp).
If, a few hours after adding Easyart, the water in the brine shrimp culture becomes clear (the microalgae have been ingested), then it is necessary to add more Easyart.
Example for a 10 L brine shrimp culture:
1. Hatch the brine shrimp cysts according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Once they have hatched, wait 6 hours and begin feeding with Easyart.
3. Place 0.5 L of seawater in a beaker.
4. Add 4 ml of Easyart and disperse the algae by agitating.
5. – Remove 0.5 L of water from the culture to make room for the new algae preparation.
6. – Slowly add the algae preparation to the culture to avoid disturbing the sediment.
It is recommended to distribute the Easyart dosage throughout the day.
For proper dispersion, Easyart must be introduced into the culture tank after being diluted in water from the same culture.
Easyart can be added automatically using a dosing pump, provided that proper dispersion of the product is ensured.
Tetraselmis Chuii:
Due to its high content of antioxidants: Superoxide Dismutase, Catalase, and Glutathione Peroxidase.
High digestibility for filter feeders and zooplankton.
Provides a high content of polysaccharides, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), pigments, and other lipid compounds.
Increases brine shrimp fertility.
