It will be used for the calibration of pH testers whose calibration point is 4.01 but also with devices that require a 2-point calibration.

To remain reliable:

     a pH tester should be calibrated at least once a week.
     the probe should be rinsed and cleaned after each use.
     the electrode must be constantly hydrated when not in use.
     the battery should be sufficient to avoid reading problems.
